PGA Tour Championship executive reflects on ‘unbelievable’ job

When Alex Urban was a graduate student at the University of Georgia, he attended the PGA Tour Championship at East Lake. He sat near the 18th green and watched Brandt Snedeker win the 2012 FedEx Cup.

“If you would have told me that 10 years later, I would be accepting the job to be executive director of the PGA Tour Championship, I don’t think I would have believed it,” he said.

Urban has been working his “dream job” since 2022; running point on the PGA Tour’s season-ending tournament.
