A 21-year-old is dead after a crash near the Mall of Millenia.The Florida Highway Patrol says it happened on Thursday morning just before 8 a.m. on Americana Boulevard at John Young Parkway.First responders are at the scene investigating and tell WESH 2 that one car, a Kia Optima, was involved in the crash.They say the driver was taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.All of the eastbound lanes of Americana Boulevard are shut down.Drivers should use Millenia Boulevard as a detour.This is a developing story.
