Orlando police say death of person found in apartment near Universal was medical related

An Orlando apartment complex was roped off with crime scene tape after police say a dead body was discovered inside one of the units on Tuesday morning. According to the OPD, officers responded to the 5900 block of Peregrine Avenue — near Vineland and South Kirkman roads — after reports of a fire.When officials arrived shortly after 5:30 a.m., they say they found no fire, but a dead adult inside the residence.By Wednesday, the Orlando Police Department confirmed that call was medical related, adding they were not searching for any suspects.
