OpenAI board fires CEO Sam Altman in shake-up that surprises Silicon Valley, investors

There was a big shake-up at the company that created the popular and well-known AI system ChatGPT. The board of directors at OpenAI, a leading artificial intelligence company that has major investments from Microsoft, fired it’s co-founder and CEO Sam Altman on Friday.
