Police are asking the public to look out for a pair of suspects who allegedly stole a Dachshund named Milkshake from a Bronx building earlier this month.

The 10-year-old brown and white pooch was in the lobby of her building on Tiffany Street and Westchester Avenue in Longwood at around 8 p.m. on May 4th when the two people allegedly ran off with her, police said.

One of the suspects was shown in police surveillance photos with long braided hair dyed red, a black jacket, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers.

The other suspect had short black curly hair with a red patch, and was wearing a white shirt, black pants and black sneakers.

Anyone with information can call NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/ or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
