A police chase in Queens ended with a pair of teens hospitalized and under arrest after the duo slammed into a parked car on their e-bike, cops said.

The trouble began around 4:05 p.m. Friday when officers responded to a 911 call for shots fired at P.S. 22 Thomas Jefferson school, on Sanford Ave. near 156th St. in Murray Hill, cops said.

An eyewitness told cops the gunman fled on a dark-colored two-wheeled vehicle, police said.

After canvassing the area cops came across an e-bike, steered by a 16-year-old, with a 14-year-old male passenger. One of those on the bike fit the witness description of the gunman, said police. Police spokespeople could not say which of the teens was suspected to be the shooter.

Cops, with their flashing lights on, tried stopping the teen, but he sped off and a chase ensued.

As the teen zipped east on Franklin Ave. towards Bowne St. on the border of East Flushing, he “failed to navigate the roadway” and smacked into a parked SUV, an NYPD spokesperson said.

Video shows that the 14-year-old passenger appeared to fall from the e-bike before the impact. The 16-year-old was still the bike’s pilot when it slammed into the parked SUV, the video shows.

The impact sent the 16-year-old flying into an unmarked police car, while the younger teen managed to get up and run off.

A police officer tended to the injured 16-year-old while three other officer chased down the fleeing 14-year-old, the video shows.

Medics rushed the two teenage boys to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where the 16-year-old was treated for head trauma, and the 14-year-old was treated for cuts and scrapes to his hand. The older teen was later transferred to New York Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center. Both teenagers were reported in stable condition on Saturday.

Cops did not find a gun on either of the young men and police were still investigating if the duo did in fact open fire near the elementary school, police said. No one was struck in the incident.

Though there was no gun, cops found a switchblade and narcotics on the teens.

Cops arrested both teens and charged them with criminal possession of a controlled substance, reckless endangerment, obstructing governmental administration, fleeing from officers in a motor vehicle, and criminal possession of a weapon.
