- Apple Bank is offering a $300 bonus when you open a new checking account at the Greenpoint Branch and complete the following requirements:
- receive Qualifying Electronic Credit Transactions totaling at least $500 each month for two consecutive months
The Fine Print
- The Greenpoint Choice Checking $300 Promotional Offer is valid from August 1-October 31, 2024. This promotional offer is only available to customers that do not have a consumer checking account at Apple Bank as of August 1, 2024.
- Customer must open a Choice Checking account at the Apple Bank Greenpoint branch during the stated period, and the account must receive Qualifying Electronic Credit Transactions (“QECTs” such as pre-authorized ACH credit transactions, including direct deposit and electronically deposited funds originating from peer-to-peer money transfer applications, like Zelle, CashApp, Venmo or PayPal) totaling at least $500.00 each month for two consecutive months after account opening.
- The first QECT(s) totaling at least $500.00 must be completed within 31 calendar days of account opening.
- The second QECT(s) totaling at least $500.00 must be completed in the month following the completion of the first QECT(s) of at least $500.00.
- After completing two consecutive months of QECTs of $500.00 or more, $300.00 will be credited to your Choice Checking account within 31 calendar days of the subsequent month following the completion of the required credit transactions.
- To receive the $300.00, the qualifying Choice Checking account must not be closed or restricted at the time of payout.
- Offer is limited to one per account, regardless of the number of Choice Checking accounts opened and/or joint tenants per account.
- Employees of Apple Bank and their families are not eligible for this offer.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
