NGHTMRE, Jon Casey and Pauline Herr have started 2024 with a bang after joining forces for “In Your Eyes,” a mind-melting effort arriving by way of the former’s Gud Vibrations imprint.

“In Your Eyes” showcases each artist’s best skills in the studio, allowing their combined sound to flourish into something wholly unique. The haunting vocals of Herr—a formidable producer in her own right as well—draw listeners in before stunning them with the arrangement’s menacing first drop. Casey and NGHTMRE’s unrelenting bass production again takes the fore in the song’s riveting closing moments, where in the flip the drop entirely on its head.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen at least part of this powerhouse collide. Casey and Herr made their mark on EDM.com’s list of the the best songs of 2023, nabbing a spot thanks to their spellbinding trap track “Toxic.” Adding NGHTMRE’s virtuosic sound into the mix is simply icing on the cake.
