Newark teen reported missing on Memorial Day safely located

(BCN) — A Newark teenager who was reported missing by his family on Monday has been located and reunited with family, according to the Newark Police Department. The 14-year-old teen was described as Asian American, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing about 130 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, blue gym shorts, gray socks and blue running shoes, police said in an advisory at 5:33 p.m. Monday. As of Tuesday afternoon, he was reunited with his family.
“Thank you for your attention to this story,” Newark PD said.
