New listings continue to track above 2023 levels – Houston Agent Magazine

New listings rose above 2023 volumes for the fifth consecutive week in Houston, according to the latest Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR).

Realtors entered 3,736 properties into the MLS during the week ended May 6. That’s a 16.1% increase year over year.

Meanwhile, closings made solid gains over 2023 volumes as well. Closings increased by 28.2% annually, with 2,363 homes sold, up from 1,842 a year prior. Pending listings, however, declined by 2.3%.
