NC youth basketball coach charged with human trafficking due in court

ANSON COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A youth basketball coach facing human trafficking charges is set for a court appearance Monday morning.
Jamoszio Burch, 30, has been charged with felony human trafficking of a child, and felony two counts of indecent liberties with children.
Court documents show the alleged offenses occurred in 2022. Burch is accused of transporting a juvenile to be held in sexual servitude. At the time, authorities said the victim was under 16.
Burch was taken into custody on Thursday, March 14, and booked into the Anson County Jail under a $250,000 secured bond. Additional charges are anticipated, the sheriff’s office said.
