Navan has added “hotel concierge” capabilities to its Ava chatbot, enabling it to assist travelers in finding and booking hotels on the platform.

The Hotel Concierge by Ava feature can suggest booking options for travelers based on their travel patterns and preferences, such as loyalty program memberships, hotel types and desired amenities, according to Navan, the rebranded TripActions. In addition to those, it can scrape open-source data, such as hotel reviews and location, and make suggestions within a company travel policy.

Ava also is able to interact directly with the Navan platform, filling in search parameters and adjusting those based on its conversation with the traveler, Navan said.
