NatureFest is returning to Anacostia Park this spring break

Get your fishing poles ready, clean your binoculars, and grab your smocks because NatureFest is coming to Anacostia Park.
WASHINGTON — Attention all nature lovers, get your fishing poles ready, clean your binoculars, and grab your smocks because NatureFest is coming to Anacostia Park.
Friends of Anacostia Park are offering camps as well as families the opportunity to come to the park to engage in activities from skating to fishing.
Events will run from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. April 15th-19th. Each day will offer a different activity, in addition to games, arts & crafts, prizes and more.
Wednesday, April 17, will focus on the appreciation of Anacostia Park’s aquatic resources with water-based games and fishing activities.
Activities will take place at Anacostia Park Skate Pavilion located at 1500 Anacostia Drive, Southeast
