The Black Brewers Meet & Greet is this Tuesday at Brass Tap from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — Craft beer is a booming, billion-dollar industry. Even during a tough year, small craft brewers contributed $62.1 billion to the U.S. economy in 2020, according to the Brewers Association.

There are nearly 9,000 craft breweries in the country, but less than 1% are Black-owned. At an upcoming event at National Harbor, you can meet some of the people behind local Black owned beer brands.
