Nargis Fakhri burst onto the Bollywood scene through her debut in Rockstar, directed by Imtiaz Ali and featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. Recently, she opened up about the challenges of sudden fame and the rumours connecting her to Ranbir and Shahid Kapoor during their appearance in the song Dhating Naach from Phata Poster Nikhla Hero.
When asked about the dating speculations with Ranbir and Shahid, Nargis expressed how it used to deeply bother her. She recounted instances where false stories circulated like one claiming she moved into Shahid’s apartment while her mother visited him, despite her mother never having been to India.
Reflecting on her post-Rockstar fame, Nargis admitted to feeling overwhelmed and stressed by the sudden attention. She described it as a peculiar phase where her body felt strained, but she navigated through it.
Recalling her initial days in the industry, she confessed to being quite clueless about the magnitude of the film Rockstar and Ranbir Kapoor’s impact as an actor. “I was incredibly naive; I didn’t grasp much,” Nargis remarked.
