As a lifelong fashion lover, I’ve learned a thing or two about presenting myself and getting dressed up from my mother. Although I’d say our personal styles are different, we’ve still encountered pieces that get us both excited here and there. Ever since Abercrombie & Fitch released re-vamped elevated basics, flowy spring dresses, and retro-inspired jeans, I haven’t looked back—and I know my mom feels similarly. The timeless aesthetic of the clothing and the endless number of combinations speaks for themselves.

Recently, I convinced my 60-something-year-old mother to browse some of A&F’s recent offerings, and I curated a selection of pieces both she and I took a liking to. Keep scrolling for lovely closet building blocks that’ll be great for any aged fashion person.
