Murder Case: 3 Of Cbd Gang Held In 13-yr-old Murder Case | Surat News – Medical Marijuana Program Connection

Surat: City’s prevention of crime branch nabbed three members of the Chaddi Baniyandhari (CBD) Kesariya gang from Jhabua district in Madhya Pradesh in connection with a 13-year-old murder case.

According to police, the trio killed a security gunman in Vaishnodevi society of Rander in 2010 and went underground ever since. Based on a tip-off, police reached their village in Meghnagar in Jhabua where the trio had come for a Pran Pratishtha celebration in a temple and nabbed them. They accused have been handed over to Rande police for further proceedings.
According to case details, accused Keshariya Mangaliya Baria, Ramu Baria and Babu Baria had shot a watchman dead in Vaishnodevi township in Rander area.

The gang would go to different cities posing as labourers and recce the surrounding areas. Only a couple of households had started to reside in the newly built society. On the day of the incident, six members of the gang reached the society to loot but the security man got alerted. However, the gang overpowered him and also snatched his gun before killing him. Police arrested three members, but all efforts to nab the absconding trio failed so far as they kept changing cities to evade arrest.
“It is dangerous for us to enter the village to nab the culprits as the villagers may attack us. So, we made a plan to nab them outside the village and succeeded in arresting them before they could enter the village,” said an official.
