Moccasin Fire evacuation order downgraded to warning in El Dorado County

Moccasin Fire evacuation orders have been downgraded to warnings in El Dorado County as crews continue mopping up a wildfire that has been mostly extinguished. The Moccasin Fire began on July 2 as a structure fire in the 1500 block of Moccasin Trail before it spread to nearby vegetation, according to Cal Fire.As of 7 a.m. Thursday, the number of acres burned remained at 51, the same acreage reported Tuesday evening. Containment has grown to 35%.
