Meta takes aim at Twitter with Threads app, millions join

The Threads app, which is now competing with Twitter, has already gained over 10 million sign-ups shortly after its launch. Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, shared this news and also revealed that the app is available in 100 countries, and already has big names such as Jennifer Lopez and The Washington Post onboard.
This launch is a challenge for Twitter, who has faced competition in the past but has managed to remain a leading social media platform. The Threads app’s success could be attributed to its ability to attract popular Instagram users.
