Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are not completely over yet, but their chances of reconciling are not looking very good at all, People and Us Weekly report. Sources spoke to both outlets about where things stand between the formerly engaged couple after their big Super Bowl weekend fight sparked breakup rumors. Fox made headlines earlier this week for attending Vanity Fair’s Oscar after-party on her own, not wearing the engagement ring Kelly gave her.

They aren’t likely to stay together, Us source said:[Megan] isn’t sure where things stand with Colson [Kelly’s real name], and it’s complicated at the moment. They’re still working on their relationship because the love they had was the real deal. That’s not something that just goes away overnight. However, they would need to have a significant breakthrough to make things work. It’s all up in the air right now.”

People’s source echoed the same points, adding that their friends aren’t even convinced they will make it. “They’re not completely done,” the source said. “They’re still trying to sort through things, but most of their friends think it is likely over. They’re just not ready to totally call it yet.”

Kelly was playing a show the night of the Vanity Fair party, where Fox went out on her own. Page Six reported that she spent a lot of time talking to Noah Centineo there but primarily spent the night with her agent Chuck James and three female friends.

Neither Fox nor Kelly have shared an update on the situation themselves. Fox at one point posted a statement to Instagram denying there was any cheating involved in their relationship issues, but she has since taken it down. The post was originally shared on February 19.

She had written, “There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes but is not limited to…actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons. While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now.”
