Martin Garrix and Mesto have joined forces with WILHELM to release “Breakaway,” a long-awaited dance anthem that serves as a soundtrack to claiming your own narrative.
Fueled by infectious electro energy, “Breakaway” is a call to arms for those yearning to break free from the hamster wheel of expectations. Its melody palpitates with a euphoric pulse, a defiant counterpoint to its lyrics, which grapple with the claustrophobia of self-imposed limitations.
Out now via Garrix’s STMPD RCRDS, the new single comes just one week after Garrix teamed up with Third Party to release “Carry You,” which had been one of the Dutch dance music superstar’s most anticipated releases in recent memory. It arrives hotly anticipated after its debut in his show-stopping set at the 2023 Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
