Having grown up less than 10 minutes from the beach, I have to admit that I take my proximity to the ocean for granted. While tourists revel in Southern California’s beaches, I don’t make enough of an effort to hit the sand on a regular basis. However, I’m determined to change that this summer. I’m eager to RSVP to any and all picnics, bonfires, and BBQs—if only to show off my new summer swimsuits.
