Melvine Malard struck a second-half equaliser as Manchester United’s first-ever UEFA Women’s Champions League game ended in a 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain dominated the first 45 minutes, but were unable to make the breakthrough until the second half.

Tabitha Chawinga put them ahead in the 53rd minute, before Malard netted for United 20 minutes from time.

The second qualifying round first-leg result means Marc Skinner’s side continue their unbeaten start to the season.

United travel to the French capital next week for the second leg.
