Man yields marijuana in concert in Quezon

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – A 24-year-old man was apprehended after he yielded marijuana concealed in a glass jar while entering the venue of a concert here on Saturday night, March 4.

Police identified the suspect as Samuel Dalwampo, a newly identified drug personality, of Barangay Ibabang Iyam here.

Dalwampo was caught by Leomer Guillermo, event security, during a pat down search at the entrance.

Suspect yielded approximately 16.30 grams of marijuana valued at P5,868. These were taken to the Quezon Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.

Meanwhile, a suspected drug pusher was arrested and marijuana weighing 519 grams valued at P186,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation in Tiaong, Quezon on Saturday.

Police said the suspect, Charles Limbo, 22, was apprehended after he sold marijuana to poseur-buyers.

Suspect yielded a weighing scale and faces drug-related charges.
