Man shot at Shaw University after homecoming event

A man was shot at Shaw University overnight after the university’s homecoming football game.
Sunday around 12:40 a.m., Raleigh police said a man was shot in the 700 block of Person Street. He was taken to the hospital in and is in critical condition, according to police.
The shooting happened on Shaw University’s campus, and police said the victim was attending a homecoming event at the time of the shooting.
There is no suspect at this time, police said.
WRAL News is working to learn whether the victim is a student. This is a developing story.
