Police are investigating a shooting Sunday evening that sent one person to the hospital in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the shooting happened around 5:42 p.m. at Worthdale Park on Sunnybrook Road.
Police say the victim, an adult male, was taken in a private vehicle to the Poole Road and Sunnybrook Road intersection before meeting EMS. EMS transported the man to the hospital.
The man has serious injuries.
Police say no suspects are in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
