Man killed in assault near Sacramento County Main Jail

(FOX40.COM) — An assault along I Street near the Sacramento County Main Jail on Monday has left a man dead, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Police say that homicide detectives are responding to take over the investigation.

I Street between 6th and 7th streets remains closed as police continue their investigation.
