Man hospitalized after stabbing near Grange Drive, Wendell police investigating

Wendell police are investigating a stabbing incident that happened Sunday night near the intersection of Grange Drive and Boxley Drive.

At approximately 7 p.m., officers responded to the scene where a man was found suffering from stab wounds.

According to police, the victim was approached by two men.

Following a verbal exchange, the victim was attacked with a sharp object.

“This is just so crazy. this is generally a really quiet neighborhood and so to see all of this chaos going on is scary,” one neighbor said. “It’s very scary.”

The victim was then taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.

The incident remains under investigation.
