There’s always one piece of cookware that you use daily — one that, as soon as you wash it, you’re getting it out to use it again immediately. In my case, it’s my saucepan, and if you don’t already have one and are well aware by now, it’ll quickly become the MVP of your collection. Boiling pasta, making a batch of tomato sauce, reheating soups or other leftovers … the possibilities go on. Needless to say, my saucepan sits permanently on my stovetop.

My stainless-steel saucepan has served me well over the years, but the only area I find it lacking in is aesthetic appeal. I always find myself eyeing colorful pieces that deserve to be seen (and not just out of necessity), and one of the brands I keep coming back to is longtime editor-favorite Le Creuset. The almost 100-year-old company is known for their high quality, vibrant colored cookware — and, less excitingly, their steep prices. We always keep an eye out for LC sales, and we just found out that their Signature Saucepan is 33% off right now! Let me tell you why you need to take advantage of this deal ASAP.

What is the Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast Iron Saucepan?

As its name implies, this Le Creuset pan is an essential for whipping up sauces, since it has a curved interior to make stirring go more smoothly. But it’ll see a ton of action outside of that, too — cooking smaller side dishes, poaching, simmering and reheating are all on the table. And, since its enameled cast iron is so gorgeous, it certainly wouldn’t look out of place on the table as a serving dish. It even has an extended helper handle alongside its main handle to give you extra control when moving it between locations.

We can attest to Le Creuset’s claims that their pieces deliver exceptional heat retention, fantastic results, and a lifetime of use. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that it’s extremely easy to use, because it requires no seasoning and is dishwasher-safe. When we tried out the Signature collection’s skillet, for instance, we found that it gave “all the benefits of cast iron without any of the annoying baggage.” No food stuck to it, and cleanup was simple, according to contributor Nic Dobija-Nootens.

What Williams Sonoma Reviewers are Saying

Le Creuset is certainly worth the price tag, as we well know, but it pays off to grab their pieces when they’re marked down. Head over to Williams Sonoma now to add this workhorse of a saucepan to your cookware rotation!
