JetBlue has agreed to purchase at least 92 million gallons of blended sustainable aviation fuel from Fidelis New Energy, the carrier announced Friday.
The fuel will be available from Fidelis’ Grön Fuels GigaSystem at the Port of Greater Baton Rouge in Louisiana, with deliveries expected to begin in 2025 for a five-year period.
The carrier has committed to using 10 percent SAF by 2030. It also has SAF agreements in place with Air Company, SG Preston, World Energy and World Fuel Services, and Neste.
