James Harden Just Launched a Signature Prosecco and Everything About It Is Totally On-Brand

[ad_1]

Arguably regarded as one of the greatest shooting guards in NBA history, James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers has made a pivot from a notorious step-back jumper on the court to now stepping into the grape vineyards of Napa Valley. Following the introduction of his California Cabernet Sauvignon and California Red Blend offerings, Harden has returned to announce the launch of J-HARDEN’s Extra Dry Prosecco Doc.

Appropriately promoted as a “a Wine with Swag,” the new Prosecco — which is being released in collaboration with Accolade Wines and globally recognized wine brand J-Shed — vividly features fresh hints of citrus, stone fruit, and energetic bubbles. As the website reveals, the 11 percent ABV bubbly also finishes with “great acidity” and pairs best with salty prosciutto, stuffed mushrooms, and margherita pizza.

Involved in the full grape-to-glass process, Harden hasn’t just stamped his name on this project expecting it to sell; the baller has offered input on the taste, look, and feel to ensure each bottle best represents his personality. And just like the previous varieties, the prosecco follows the brand’s tradition of bold, colorful bottle designs, curated to complement Harden’s iconic fashion style.

“I wanted to bring excitement to the wine industry and turn some heads, with a wine that you can drink anywhere — nice dinner & at home chilling — something that I would drink often. That was the kind of lane I was looking for… something real,” a quote from Harden reads on the website.

With a suggested retail price of $16.99, The J-Harden Prosecco is now available for purchase at Vivino and will soon be made available at Total Wine and other national retailers as soon as April 1. Visit j-hardenwines.com for a complete list of retailers and experience the crafting of the perfect winestyle from James Harden as he puts the “the Beard on the Bottle.”
