Jacksonville company buys $22M equestrian estate from first Black female billionaire

A company led by Sheila Johnson, a billionaire co-founder of BET, CEO of a hospitality company and president of a WNBA team, sold an equestrian estate in Wellington for $21.68 million.
The 14.15-acre property at 3531, 3545 and 3585 Olde Hampton Drive was sold by 3531 Olde Hampton Drive LLC, managed by Johnson out of her home in Virginia. The buyer was Shady Grove Road Commercial Properties, managed by Michael Hall in Jacksonville. BNA Bank provided a $13.112 million mortgage to the buyer.
