(FOX40.COM) — Weeks after announcing its home opener, Roseville Iron Rose FC unveiled the full schedule on Friday for its upcoming inaugural season.

San Francisco Elite Soccer Club will be Iron Rose FC’s first opponent in a road match for the Roseville squad on May 11.

After the home opener against FC Davis on May 18, Iron Rose FC returns home to take on BattleBorn FC, a club from Northern Nevada. Iron Rose FC will host home matches at the football stadium at West Park High School.

Following a week off, Iron Rose FC will take on Napa Valley on the road on June 8 before returning home on June 15 to take on the San Franciso Nighthawks.

Iron Rose FC’s first meeting with fellow Sacramento regional club California Storm will be in Davis on June 19.

The Roseville club will play its final home game on June 22 against San Ramon FC.

Iron Rose FC will conclude the regular season in back-to-back road matches against Contra Costa-based club Lamorinda United on June 27 and against the Fresno Freeze FC on June 29.

Single-game tickets are not yet available, but fans can purchase season tickets on the club’s website.

Iron Rose players, coaches with local ties

Since signing its first player in early March, Iron Rose FC added two more to its roster along with hiring its head coach and assistant coach.

The three announced signed players, Molly Branigan, Lakelee Perkins, and Leslie Fregoso, all have ties to the Sacramento region. Branigan is a Roseville native while Perkins’ hometown is Rocklin and Fregoso is from Live Oak in Sutter County.

Iron Rose FC head coach Max Alvarez is a former Sacramento State soccer player and formerly played for the Sacramento Republic FC in its inaugural USL championship season in 2014.

Alvarez returned to his alma mater as coach as assistant coach for the men’s team before the 2022 season.

Rachel Mercik, who played professionally in Europe, was added to the club’s coaching staff as an assistant coach.

Mercik is another person within the club with regional ties, as she was born in El Dorado Hills and attended Oak Ridge High School.
