Sellers continue to flock to the market in Houston, according to the latest Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR).

Realtors entered 3,310 new listings into the MLS during the week, a 19.1% increase over the same week in 2023, when 2,780 properties were added to the market. That marked the eighth consecutive week of year-over-year gains.

Both pending and closed listings decreased annually, however. Pending listings fell 19.2%, with 1,819 properties going under contract, while closings fell 11.1%, with 1,649 homes sold.

Meanwhile, listing views on HAR.com jumped 29% year over year.
