Ingested is now streaming their new single “Paragon Of Purity” off their forthcoming record The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams, due out April 5. The single comes alongside a music video by Loki Films.

“Ashes… was constructed in the COVID period, and the mood of that album definitely reflects that time,” the band notes, “With The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams, we wanted to bring the energy up a bit. As much as we like what we did with Ashes, its depressive tone isn’t something we wanted to continue to explore quite as much. There are definitely some dark moments on Tide, but for the most part, we took a more upbeat approach to the songs this time round.”

The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams was produced by Ingested with the guidance of recording engineer Nico Beninato. The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams includes a guest appearance by Chimaira‘s Mark Hunter who provides guest vocals for the track “In Nothingness”, and Sylosis singer Josh Middleton who contributes to “Expect To Fail”.

The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams features cover art by David Seidman, and you can pre-order the record here.
