CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – In Chicopee, a fashion show dubbed “Fashion Everyone” returned for its second year and aims to bring awareness to those with mental and physical disabilities.

This year it was held at the Portuguese American Club and was put on by Level Up Designs and the ING Company. The show’s organizer and CEO of ING Company explained to 22News what the purpose of the show is and what she hopes for the future of these events.

“What I hope is that it will grow so people will see this, see how confident the models are, see how beautiful they are and that they’re included just like everybody else. And that they would want to participate,” said India Anderson. She added, “I know it’s a scary thing, modeling is a scary thing… Once you practice and you get up there, it just makes you very confident.”

The Fashion Everyone show also hosted local designers whose work was worn by the models.
