In order to emerge the winner during sale season, you have to play the long game. Sure, it’d be easier to only shop the first wave, when everything’s still in stock. There’s only one problem: By making all of your purchases early on, you inevitably miss out on all the additional discounts that only arrive after the markdowns have rested and the hype around them has lessened. That’s when you really need to pounce.
