Houston closed home sales jumped last week – Houston Agent Magazine

Closed home sales in Houston surged 34.8% during the week ended Oct. 7, rising to 1,853 transactions from 1,375 a year earlier, according to the latest Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

New listings, meanwhile jumped 31.2% as Realtors added 3,611 properties to the MLS, up from 2,752 properties during the same week in 2023. Pending listings rose 6% to 1,953 from 1,843.

Listing views on HAR.com popped 31% to 9,507,878, while showings were up 4.5%, at 33,746.
