Making this homemade horseradish butter recipe takes only 10 minutes to mix up with an optional 20 minutes resting time for the flavors to meld. It’s as easy to make as my very popular Horseradish Sauce recipe.

While the ingredient list is short, it’s imperative to use high-quality ingredients to make the best version possible.
- Room Temperature Unsalted Butter – Pure french butter or creamy Irish butter are ideal.
- Horseradish – fresh or prepared horseradish can be used.
- Fresh Herbs
- Lemon Juice – don’t skip this ingredient. The acidity brightens up the butter.
- Fine Sea Salt

Ingredients
- 8 oz unsalted butter, softened (*Note 1)
- 1½ tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp chopped herbs (*Note 2)
- ½ tsp horseradish, freshly grated or prepared
- ½ tsp minced garlic
- ½ tsp sea salt, + more to taste
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions

Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and mash with a fork. You can also use a stand mixer or food processor to blend.

Taste and add extra horseradish and/or sea salt, to taste, if desired.
