[ad_1]

It could feel like 105 and above early next week.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

This Weekend

It’ll be a hot and humid weekend across the Charlotte area but this weather is more typical for July across this region. Highs will reach the mid 90s with feels-like temperatures near 101 degrees Saturday and 103 degrees on Sunday.

There is little-to-no rain both days this weekend. It will be the farthest thing from a washout with only an isolated storm chance (near 20%) each afternoon.

Next Week

Monday and Tuesday will soar to 99 degrees each day with even the possibility of touching 100. Heat index values will reach 105 degrees and higher across the Charlotte area, likely resulting in heat advisories. A third heat advisory will likely be triggered Wednesday with a high near 97 degrees and higher humidity shoving the heat index to near 107.

  • After the highest humidity of the week, Wednesday afternoon will see scattered showers and storms.
  • Higher rain and storm chances return Thursday afternoon allowing for highs in the low-mid 90s.
  • A cloudier and wetter long-range pattern will eventually drop highs into the mid-upper 80s.
