GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Republican Vice Presidential candidate and Ohio Senator J.D. Vance made a stop in Greenville Saturday afternoon — his second visit to Greenville in two weeks.
Campaign officials said Vance was in town for an “off the record” event. Vance landed at Pitt-Greenville Airport around 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
The Republican VP nominee then traveled into Greenville, stopping at Sup Dogs to chat with ECU fans ahead of the game with Appalachian State. Vance then headed to Dowdy-Ficklen stadium to watch the game.
As WNCT reported previously, Vance was in Greenville last week for a fundraiser at a private residence.
Officials with the Trump-Vance campaign said Vance will speak at Union Hall in Raleigh next Wednesday.

Former President Donald Trump will hold a rally at Aero Center Wilmington next Saturday.
