First lady to visit NC as part of Monday trip

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — First Lady Jill Biden will make a stop in Pitt County on Monday as part of a day-long trip to North Carolina.

The White House announced she will visit Pitt Community College and Greensboro as part of her effort to highlight the importance of efforts to expand career-connected learning in high school and college. She is expected to arrive at Pitt-Greenville Airport around noon and then be at PCC around 12:30 p.m. to meet with officials and tour the campus.

At 2:30 p.m., she is expected to head to Greensboro and will later visit Guilford Technical College. She’ll be part of a roundtable discussion about career-connected learning in schools.
