My Disability Roadmap” is a 23-minute Op-Doc film by Samuel Habib and his father. Samuel, 21, wants to date, leave home, go away to college. But as he says, “No one tells you how to be an adult, let alone an adult with a disability.” So Samuel seeks out guidance from America’s most rebellious disability activists from around the country: “There are bad-ass people with disabilities who figured it out. I want to talk to them. I can learn from them.” The two filmmakers won an Emmy for their film.

What can we learn from Samuel’s journey to discover a road map for himself and for others with disabilities?
