FBI raids Garner home, seizes pictures and a vehicle

GARNER, N.C. (WTVD) — FBI agents Tuesday carried out a raid at a home in Garner.

Chopper 11 was over the home at the center of the investigation on Hay River Street.

The FBI said it seized photographs, envelops full of information and a vehicle from the property.

The FBI did not release any further details about what the investigation was about. However, ABC11 spoke to a man at the scene who revealed some more specifics about what was happening.

The man said he was a co-owner of an auto repair business. He said he was shocked when the FBI agents showed up at the home on Hay River Street with a court order to search the property.

“They just searched my cars and searched me. That’s all.”

He went on to say that the agents were interested in information related to money transactions. The man, who declined to give his name, said he believed all of the transactions made to legal.

No arrests have been made at this time.
