The holidays are beautiful. They keep us busy, and well, jolly.

But as December turns into January, we sometimes begin to feel couped up or tired of the gloomy days.

So, today, here are 5 easy at-home activities to do with your family this winter. May they help you stay jolly and bright New years into February!

1. Do an Epic Puzzle

First, remind your kids that there are fun activities outside of screens and put together a cool family puzzle. When you finish your accomplishment, glue it and hang it for all to see.

2. Try New Year Trivia

Check out these amazing New Year Trivia questions to see how much you know about this fun day of the year!

3. Have an Indoor Campout

First, get that fire going (or put one on Netflix) and put up a fort or tent. Have the kids grab their sleeping bags. Then, put some foil packets and s’mores in the oven, and you’ve got yourself a fun, but WARM campout!

4. Have a Snowman Competition

See who can make the biggest or best snowman in your family. If that’s too much, make it a snow angel competition instead. Or just do one epic snowball fight that everyone will remember!

5. Have a Soup Day

Finally, use a day off to whip up your favorite soups, stews, and chilis. Freeze the extras and you’ll have a hearty meal whenever you need it this winter!

In Conclusion

While the rest of winter isn’t as glorious as the holidays, it can be as beautiful as we make it. So, go ahead, create your own magnificent fun this winter!
