If you’re like most people, you’ve been living your life in a way that’s not really working for you.

Maybe it’s because you’re too stressed out, or maybe it’s because you’ve become addicted to the things that are making your life difficult.

Either way, there’s a simple solution: extremely simple living.

What Is Extreme Simple Living?

Extreme simple living is a lifestyle that’s focused on minimalism.

It’s about getting rid of all the clutter and unnecessary items in your life so you can focus on what really matters.

The idea behind extreme simple living is that by eliminating clutter, you’ll have more free time, money, and energy to enjoy things that matter to you.

Some people go so far as to say that extremely simple living is a form of minimalism, but there are subtle differences between the two terms.

Extreme simple living focuses on getting rid of material things while minimizing focuses on minimizing your time commitments and responsibilities.

5 Things You’ll Give To Achieve Extreme Simple Living

Extreme Simple Living - This is a picture of the living room. A beautiful chandelier can be seen. The paint is white. A black couch is located on the right side. Two carpets are laid on the floor.

I am so excited to be here and share my journey with you.

My goal is to help you achieve your goals of extreme simplicity, as well as share some tips we’ve learned along the way.

If you’re new to this concept, extreme simple living is about finding balance in your life by simplifying everything you do so that it makes sense for you.

It’s about creating a space for yourself where you can relax and enjoy life without being bogged down by clutter or stress.

We know it’s hard to start from scratch, but once you get started on your path toward extremely simple living, you’ll see how much better it will make your life!

1. Too Much Television

Extreme Simple Living - A woman can be seen in the picture. She is sitting on a chair. She has her right hand extended. Her hand is holding a black remote. She is wearing a white shirt with a coat on.

The average person watches five hours of television every day.

Here’s a statistic that might surprise you.

Most of our favorite shows are not even on television!

In fact, according to a study conducted by researchers, we spend more time watching streaming media than we do watching live TV.

If you want to simplify your life, you’ll have to take control over how much time you spend consuming entertainment.

And that means cutting down on your TV time.

You’ll find that when you get rid of all those distractions, there are lots of other things that need doing around the house or with friends and family members.

2. Using Your Phone Most Of The Time

Extreme Simple Living - A woman can be seen in the picture. Her hair is curly. She is looking at her phone. Her laptop is in the table. There are pillows on her right.

If you want to achieve extremely simple living, you need to give up your phone.

I know, it’s hard.

We’re all so addicted to our phones, and they’re always there with us.

But sometimes it’s just too much.

They distract us from the moment, from our families, from our friends, and from ourselves.

When you take a break from your phone for a few hours at a time, you’ll start to notice how much more present and grounded in reality you feel.

It will be uncomfortable at first, but if you stick with it, eventually it will get easier.

3. Your Car

Extreme Simple Living - A man can be seen in the picture. His face is not see. He is driving a car. Both his hands are on the steering wheel. He is wearing a watch.

When you live a life of extreme simplicity, it’s not just your stuff that gets simplified.

It’s also the way you move through your world.

That includes how you get around, and in many cases, whether or not you even have a car at all.

It’s time to start thinking about what your car represents to you.

Is it freedom?

Is it convenient?

Is it status?

If so, that’s something worth considering when you’re deciding whether or not to keep it around in your new life as an extreme simplifier.

4. Your Excessive Entertainment

Extreme Simple Living - A man can be seen in the picture. He is lying on the bed. He is wearing sun glasses. There are a lot of things with him. He is wearing headphones.

I know that entertainment is a big part of our lives.

We love to watch movies, play video games, and even get our news from television.

But when you’re living an extremely simple lifestyle, you have to give up some of these luxuries.

You’ll still be able to enjoy entertainment, but it will be more in moderation than it was before.

For example, instead of watching four hours of Netflix every night, you’ll watch one hour.

This will allow you to exercise more often and improve your health overall.

5. Some Of Your Personal Belongings

Extreme Simple Living - A woman is smiling in the picture. She is wearing a white dress. She has tattoos on her legs and arms. She is fixing her travel bag. Her clothes don’t fit in on her bag.

One of the things you’ll give up to achieve extremely simple living is your personal belongings.

In order to live a simpler life, you’ll have to get rid of some of your stuff.

You may have a lot of things that don’t serve any purpose for you anymore and are just taking up space in your house.

You can donate these items or sell them online or at garage sales.

Or if you want to keep them but aren’t using them, try storing them away in a closet or attic until they come back in style again!

7 Things You’ll Gain In Extreme Simple Living

Extreme Simple Living - A woman is sitting on the chair. She is looking out the window. The glass window is open. The table has a vase on it. The curtains are white.

A simple life is a happy life.

The more you have, the more complicated things get.

And that’s not always a good thing.

In fact, it can be downright scary.

Here are some of the things you’ll gain when you go extremely simple life:

1. More Time For Yourself And Your Loved Ones

Extreme Simple Living - A family can be seen in the picture. They are walking on the bridge. The bridge leads to a hut. The waves on the ocean are big. The sun is setting.

We all know that our lives are getting busier and busier, and it’s easy to feel like we’re spinning our wheels.

But with extremely simple living, you’ll gain more time for yourself and your loved ones.

Why?

You’ll be doing less of the things you don’t love doing so that you can spend more time doing what matters most to you.

And that means making more room in your life for the people who matter most to you.

2. An Appreciation For What Really Matters In Life

Extreme Simple Living - A lot if things can be seen in this table. A candle is lit on the lower right. There are two notebooks there. They have the words ‘DO WHAT YOU LOVE’ in them. A wilted flower can also be seen.

You’ll gain an appreciation for what really matters in life.

You’ll have time to do things that you truly love, like spending time with family and friends or pursuing your hobbies.

You’ll feel a sense of freedom that comes with not being tied down by material possessions or financial concerns.

3. Sense Of Freedom And Empowerment

Extreme Simple Living - A woman can be seen in the picture. Her arms are spread out. She is surrounded by tall grasses. Her dress camuoflages in the leaves. The weather is cold.

Extreme simple living is quite similar to the way of slow living where it somehow helps in gaining a sense of freedom and empowerment.

You’ll be able to reduce your workload, which means you’ll have more time for other things in life.

You can also make better use of your time, which means you’ll get more done in less time.

4. Stronger Sense Of Self-confidence

Extreme Simple Living - There are two persons in this picture. They are standing in their formal clothes. They look very confident in their smiles. The windows of the room are glasses. The view outside are buildings.

You’ll gain a stronger sense of self-confidence.

Living simply is about focusing on what’s important to you, which helps you prioritize your life and figure out what it is that makes you happy.

In the process, you’ll develop a clearer idea of who you are and what makes your life fulfilling, which will give you more confidence in all areas of your life.

5. Less Stressed And More Relaxed

Extreme Simple Living - A woman is the subject of the picture. She is sitting alone in the grasses. She is looking at the lake. There are swans on the lake. There are trees around.

When you live in a small space, you often have to make sacrifices.

It’s either giving up some of your stuff or living in a way that is different from what you’re used to.

Many people who decide to go on a simple living journey do so because they want their lives to feel more relaxed and less stressful.

When we say less stressed, we mean less stress overall.

You’ll find that you have more time for yourself and can enjoy life more with less clutter around you.

When there are fewer things vying for your attention, it’s easier to relax and enjoy yourself!

6. Save Money

Extreme Simple Living - A hand can be seen in the picture. It is holding a coin. The hand hand is about to insert the coin to a piggy bank. The piggy bank is black. There are a lot of coins around the piggy bank.

The main reason you might want to consider extremely simple living is the money.

It’s not just because of the savings, though it’s also about what you’ll be able to do with that money.

When you live simply, you can put more of it toward things that are important to you.

7. Better Work-Life Balance

Extreme Simple Living - A man is the subject of the picture. He is working. His hand is holding a cup of coffee. There are books on his left side. And a laptop is in his front.

You’ll have a better work-life balance!

If you’re like most people, you work hard to provide for yourself and your family.

Maybe you’re a mom or dad who has to take care of kids all day, or maybe you’re an employee who is always on call.

Either way, it can be hard to find the time to do things that make you happy.

With extremely simple living, you’ll be able to spend more time doing whatever it is that makes you feel good.

Whether that’s going out with friends, playing sports, or even taking a nap!
