CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – A van rolled over on E. 55th Street in Cleveland late Wednesday night.

The crash happened at about 11:40 p.m. near McBride Avenue.

The driver was trapped and had to be extricated by the Cleveland Fire Department. It took first-responders 15 minutes to free the driver who was then transported by EMS to a nearby hospital.

E. 55th Street was temporarily closed in the area.

It’s not clear what caused the crash or the condition of the driver.
