Dive team searching for man who fell in water while fishing in Franklin County

A water rescue is underway Monday in Franklin County near Henderson.

Before 9 a.m., authorities told WRAL News a man was fishing and fell in the water in the 8400 block of N.C. Highway 39, near Henderson.

Another person tried to save him, but the man never resurfaced.

A team from Youngsville water rescue was sending probes into a pond to look for the man.
