Disney has revealed the next edition of D23 Expo, a fan convention for all things Disney, will be returning to Anaheim, California, in 2024.

The company said next year’s event will be an expanded version of the convention, which will take place from Aug. 4 – 11. This is different from previous years in that it will be held during an entire week, instead of just a weekend.

The additional dates will also allow for more activities and announcements at one of Disney’s biggest fan events. “D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is a one-of-a-kind fan experience like never before with spectacular shows, new venues, and multiple days of entertainment that will bring together the best of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more,” Disney wrote in a news release.

Highlights include D23 Day on Aug. 4 being celebrated at Angel Stadium for the Los Angeles Angels vs. New York Mets game, as well as a D23 kickoff event at Disneyland Resort on Aug. 8. Exhibits, panels and presentations will take place Aug. 9 – 11 at the Anaheim Convention Center during the day with additional evening activities at the Honda Center.

Tickets for the upcoming D23 fan event will go on sale in spring 2023, and additional details for the convention will also be announced early next year.

D23 is the first official fan club in Disney’s nearly 100-year history and pays homage to Walt Disney when he opened his first Hollywood studio in 1923. In previous years, the convention has brought together A-list stars, major news and exclusive footage of Disney’s upcoming projects.
