Discount supermarket giant Aldi pulls plug on Kalgoorlie CBD store – Medical Marijuana Program Connection

Discount supermarket giant Aldi has pulled the plug on its plans to open in Kalgoorlie’s CBD, with the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder eyeing off the land for a potential high-rise apartment development.

In 2021, Aldi purchased the site of the old Kmart and Coles building along Brookman Street from Harbig, with plans to building the German discount supermarket on the former Coles site.
